The earth sheds tears, whispers among the breeze
Talk of love and pain and human things
Invisibly haunts our skies, down to here where truth lies
Giving us freedom, will, and the ability to cry out
I give you a guiding hand to find what's inside
You can't escape what lies in your mind
Your heart can hear, but only words can speak
Of what's there, undeniable voice, filled with feelings
Despite the darkness, we are filled with light

A place to go when there's no other place to hide
Despite the evil and shadows and tempters
Always a choice to do something much better
With our hearts, must give love away

All of this has got to start today
This place, this earth, is a temporary home
